A Helping Hand to Next Generation Nutritionists

New for 2008 and in association with specialist educational body the Institute of Optimum Nutrition , The Nutri Centre is offering a new student grant to ensure that a lack of money is no barrier to talented individuals who want to study for a career in nutrition.

The Nutri Centre Student Grant provides a non-repayable grant to three students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds, to the value of £1000 each year over the three years of the Institute's Nutritional Therapy Diploma Course. Funds are now available to support students applying for course entry in September 2008.

Each student who receives the Nutri Centre Student Grant will benefit from a package of educational support as well as financial sponsorship.  These benefits include access to The Nutri Centre's extensive reference library of scientific articles; invitations to events and discounts on text books; work experience opportunities under the guidance of qualified nutritionists at the Nutri Centre stores and nutritional therapy job opportunities after graduation.

The ION's Nutritional Therapy Diploma Course is the longest established and most well respected nutritional therapy training course in Europe , if not the world. According to the Institute, whether you intend to work full-time or part-time, work flexibly in a self-employed capacity or for a large company, nutritional therapy has immense potential as a rewarding career.
