What do energy support supplements do in the body?
Energy is produced in the body by something known as the kreb cycle or energy production cycle. This happens deep inside the cell, in something called the mitochondria. There are many nutrients required for a properly functioning kreb cycle, both directly and as co-factors.
Some of the nutrients required in energy production are;

Most of these are involved directly in the kreb cycle, and Iron is used in the transportation of oxygen around the body. If any of these nutrients are missing or not in adequate supply, the kreb cycle will be impaired and not work as efficiently as it could.
Some of the energy supplements contain herbs, such as Green tea, Korean ginseng and Spirulina as these have been traditionally eaten and used to support energy levels.
