Description
5-HTP short of 5-hydroxytryptophan is a derivative of the amino acid tryptophan and is converted, in the brain, into the neurotransmitter serotonin which influences everything from appetite, to mood, to sleep. Lamberts use a natural source, extracted from the seeds of Graffonia simplicifolia.
Ingredients
Each tablet provides L-5-Hydroxytryptophan 100mg (natural extract from the seeds of Griffonia simplicifolia)
Ingredients: DiCalcium Phosphate, Calcium Carbonate, Cellulose, L-5-Hydroxytryptophan, Tablet coating (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, colour: titanium dioxide, glycerin), silicon dioxide, stearic acid, magnesium stearate.
Contraindications
Do not take if pregnant or breast feeding. Mild drowsiness may occur in some people. It is advisable not to drive or operate machinery until you determine how 5HTP affects you. Consult you doictor if you are taking antidepressants.
Directions
Take up to 3 tablets daily, half an hour befoer meals or half an hour before bedtime. Start on one tablet and increase as necessary, or as directed by a practitioner.
