Serving Suggestions:
This product has a mild, slightly savoury taste and it will get thicker when added to soups and stews. Add extra liquid if needed, or if you are following a recipe.
Soups, Stews and Gravies
Add the protein powder at the end of the cooking period, just before eating. Simply sprinkle and stir well.
On Cereals
This product mixes quite well with muesli-style breakfast cereals. Stir into the dry muesli or cereals before adding the milk.
Fruit Smoothies
You can mash or blend it into any fresh fruit. The mild savoury taste will be most effectively 'lost' if only 10g of Protein powder is mixed with one portion of fruit such as banana.
Milk Shakes
The Protein powder dissolves well when blended into milk shakes. 10g can be easily mixed into a small milkshake, and 20 g into a large milkshake.
Directions:
A 20 g portion of this product is generally recommended an can be measured out as two heaped dessertspoons. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Food supplements should not be a substitute for a varied diet.
For Sports:
Muscle mass can only be increased if the diet supplies sufficient hight quality protein. This product can be used to boost overall protein intakes and, in particular, the intake of branch chain amino acids. Depending on the amount of first class protein in your basic diet, you can consume one 20g portion or two portions (40g) per day.
For Slimmers:
This product can be used as a high protein meal replacement; try a 20g portion in a milkshake or mix into crushed fruit to make a healthy light meal. This product has a very low glycaemic index and so will help to prevent 'rebound' hunger that can follow some carbonhydrate rich meals. Alternatively add the Protein powder to low calorie soups to provide a more filling meal and hold back hunger for longer. One 20g portion per day can make a significant contribution to your diet. Up to two 20g portions can be taken per day.
Low Appetites/Recovery From Illness:
A low appetite can seriously compromise your ability to recover from illness, as you need not just protein and calories but also vitamins and minerals to help your body recover. We always recommend that a good multivitamin and mineral should be taken if you have a low appetite. Try adding 20g of Protein powder to tasty soups. In this way homemade, tinned or packet soups can be transformed into an excellent, easy to eat protein boost. You will need to add extra liquid.
