The most notable elements included in this formula are Quercetin, Bromelain, and Vitamin C. The combination of these three ingredients have long been used together to help a seasonal change suffer deal with the fall out of the body’s response to things like pollen and mold.
Quercetin, at even relatively low doses, has been shown to support mast cells and reduce if not inhibit the release of histamine which is the culprit the starts the problem.
Quercetin has been implicated with being somewhat difficult to absorb so by adding Bromelain it has been suggested that it may support better absorption. Bromelain is also included to support the break down of protein fibrin as this is a protein that accumulates at the onset of an inflammatory response.
Bromelain taken on an empty stomach has been shown to actually absorb intact allowing it to go directly to work on the fibrin collected. Vitamin C is a valuable tool assisting in the scavenging effort of the body attempting to get rid of the antigens that are causing the response. Vitamin C has also been seen supporting efforts related to the reduction of inflammatory markers again supporting the body during this trying time.
