Samento is the Ashaninka Indian name for Cat’s Claw, or Uncaria tomentosa, which grows in a hidden valley in the Peruvian Amazon.nbsp; Samento is free from a group of alkaloids known as Tetracyclic Oxindole Alkaloids (TOAs) which appear to improve its effectiveness. Cat’s Claw has been show to have antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties and works as an immune system modulator. nbsp;
